GRAINRY COUNTRY STORE ANTIQUES
Grainry Country Store Antiques also has some wonderful old farm implements on display that were once used right here on the farm, as well as some old farm equipment - like cast iron kettles and chicken coops -- for sale. Take a trip around our E-store and see what we have to offer. The Grainry Country Store is an actual granary building built by Gib Engelbrecht in the 1950s. It was used to store all the grain grown on the 200 acre farm to feed the livestock over the winter. At the time, it was a full-fledged working farm. Early on, from about 1949 until 1956, all the plowing was done by Dad with his two mules, Dick and Fanny.
Most of the items we sell are gathered at estate sales, auctions, and sales from old homesteads in our southern Indiana and surrounding areas, so we have lots of one-of-a-kind items.
